Statement on the obligation to provide information

The protection of your personal data is of particular concern to us. We therefore process your data solely on the basis of the legal regulations (GDPR, TKG [Austrian Telecommunications Act] 2003). In this data protection information, we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing on our website.

Contacting us

If you contact us by using this form on this website or by email, all data you provide will be stored by us for six months for the sole purpose of processing your enquiry and in the event of follow- up questions. We will not pass on this data to third parties without your consent. Neither are they sold or lent out, respectively. Your data is transmitted via SSL encryption (SSL certificate) and we undertake to handle all of your data responsibly and with the greatest possible care.

Web analysis and cookies

Our website uses functions of the web analysis service Matomo, an open-source software for statistical evaluation of visitor access, as well as the Google Analytics software provided by Google. Matomo (150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand). It uses so-called “cookies”. These are text files that are stored on your computer, enabling an analysis of your usage of the website. The information thus created is transmitted to the server of the provider (located in Germany) and stored there. You can prevent this by adjusting the settings of your browser so that no cookies are being stored. We would, however, like to point out that in such a case, you may, if applicable, not be able to use all functions of this website to their full extent.

Your IP address is collected but pseudonymised at once (e. g. by deleting the last 8 bit). Thus, only some broad localization is still possible.

Our concern in the sense of the GDPR (legitimate interest) is to improve our offer and our website. Since the privacy of our users matters to us, the user data is pseudonymised. We retain the user data for the period of one year.

The use of cookies with regard to Google (Google Inc., 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043, USA) is handled in the same way as for Matomo, except that some of the data is stored in the U.S. as well. This, however, is done in accordance with the policies of the EU-U.S. Privacy Shield (https://www.dsb.gv.at/eu-us-privacy-shield).

Facebook - social media plugins

This website uses Facebook social plugins operated by Facebook Inc. (1 Hacker Way, Menlo Park, California 94025, USA). These embeddings become apparent because of the Facebook logo or, respectively, the terms “Like”, “Share”. You can find information about all Facebook plugins at: https://developers.facebook.com/docs/plugins/

The plugin establishes a direct connection between your browser and the Facebook servers. The website operator does not have any influence on the nature and the scope of the data that the plugin transmits to the servers of Facebook Inc. The plugin informs Facebook Inc. that you as a user have visited this website. Your IP address may be stored in this case.

If you are being logged into your Facebook account while you visit this website, the information mentioned is linked to this account. If you use the plugin functions, for example by sharing or “liking” a post, the respective information is transmitted to Facebook Inc., too. If you want to keep Facebook Inc. from linking this data to your Facebook account, please log off from Facebook prior to visiting this website.

Your rights

In general, you have the rights to information, correction, deletion, restriction, data transferability, revocation and objection. If you believe that the processing of your data violates data protection law, or your data protection claims have otherwise been violated in any way, you can complain to the supervisory authority. In Austria, this is the data protection authority.
